At a distance of 47 km from Shimla and 2 km from Chail, Sidh Baba Ka Mandir is a temple dedicated to the Hindu saint named Sidh Baba. This is a revered religious site in Chail. This shrine is located atop a hill between Rajgarh and Pandhawa.

According to the History, Sidh Baba ka Mandir was built in the year 1891 by Maharaja of Patiala Bhupinder Singh in Chail where he was about to build his Palace as his summer residence when he was exiled from Shimla by Lord Kitchener.

One day, Sidh Baba came in Maharaja's dream and asked him to stop the construction of the Palace. Sidh Baba informed that he used to perform meditation on that hill and was cremated there. The saint also said that the hill is pious and not suitable for residential purposes. Subsequently, the king stopped the construction of his Palace and ordered to start the construction of temple in the honor of the saint.
